Manchester United traveled to Switzerland on Wednesday to take on FC Basel.

I was too happy with the outcome of this game.

The game ended 2-1 for FC Basel. I was happy that Manchester lost and was way happier that they did not qualify for the Round of 16.

They were having a hard time scoring today. It’s like a glitch from Fifa 12 came to reality in this match when Wayne Rooney made a costly mistake in the first half; two meters away from goal.

I’m not hating on the Red Devils, but its about time they suffered some losses. Boy has this season been the worst for them.

They got kicked out in the group stage of the Champions League and Carling Cup and are also treading behind their derby rivals (Manchester City) in the EPL.

Could things get any worse for Manchester United?

Losing the FA Cup final on Jan. 8 would be the icing on the cake and losing the league would be the cherry on top.

No offence United fans, but you only like them for their jersey anyway.
