The 2012 NBA All Star weekend is going to be a blast to watch this year. The 2012 NBA Rising Stars game will go a little differently for the 2012 NBA All Star weekend. Instead of having the rookies take on the sophomores this year, the NBA decided to have two coaches hand-pick their teams from a balanced pool of sophomores and rookies.
Shaq and Charles Barkley had a live draft on ESPN last week that was a joy to watch. Both former NBA legends have great personalities and have had their disputes with each other in the past, adding more competitiveness to the game for NBA All Star Weekend. I don’t usually watch the rookie/sophomore game and am having second thoughts about tuning into NBA All Star weekend early, on Feb 24, after having watched the live draft.
