Brady Quinn has been a part of the Denver Broncos organization since 2010. It was only until last season that Tim Tebow got his starting QB role for the Broncos. In the March issue of GQ, Brady Quinn went on record to express his unhappiness with Tebow-mania, and on his own situation with the Denver Broncos.
The whole Brady Quinn drama stemmed from the fact that he felt he didn’t get the opportunity to prove he deserved the starting QB role on the Denver Broncos. Brady Quinn basically started complaining about the fact that he was the second string QB after Kyle Orton. Thereafter, Brady Quinn began explaining that Tim Tebow came in and got a lot of love from the fans, which made way for him to be the starting QB for the Broncos. He also trash talked about the Tebow craze, saying that he would pray with his team mates, rather than out in the open in front of a crowd, to get media attention. Brady Quinn then concluded the statement, by saying that the Broncos had some good luck last season for making it to the playoffs.
All I got from this mess, was that Brady Quinn was publicly nagging about his status at the Denver Broncos, just because he wasn’t in the spotlight. The last thing Brady Quinn should have done was downplay his team’s performance, and complain about Tim Tebow’s success on the team. Its not Tim Tebow’s fault that Brady Quinn didn’t take his pre-season start against the Cardinals well, which was the main reason why the staff began to trust Tim Tebow a lot more. Furthermore, Brady Quinn has the abilities to be a good QB, however he most likely will not be given that chance at the Denver Broncos, so he might as well start searching for a new team.
