Ron Artest abandoned Metta World Peace on national television in the Lakers game against OKC yesterday. Too bad he brought us the good news at the expense of James Harden’s head. The funny thing is he admitted to the press a while back that he regretted having his name changed to Metta World Peace.
Maybe Ron Artest elbowed James Harden because he no longer wanted to be called Metta World Peace and felt it was the best opportunity to kill the name. He also could have dented James Harden’s head because he didn’t let him celebrate jamming over KD. The point is the media, as predicted, have been trying to make Ron Artest seem like a hypocrite, when all this time, Ron Artest regretted his name being changed to Metta World Peace in the first place.
Now, will Ron Artest get suspended? I’m sure he will. How many games? I don’t know. Was it intentional? Hell yeah, check out the video yourself. And just for the record, I’m glad Ron Artest is back and I give a lot of respect to James Harden for “getting in his way”.
Ron artest is actually kind of embarrassing to the los angeles lakers. i look at the elbow on harden like this... its similar to mike tyson biting hollyfields ear, he didnt do it on purpose, hes just crazy.... ron didnt elbow harden on purpose, hes just crazy! nevertheless, the lakers are going to clean house in the playoffs !!
