Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi has apoligized to the organization for slapping winger, Adem Ljajic in their Seria A game against Novara on Wednesday. It all happenned after Ljajic mocked his coach with a sarcastic thumbs up for substituting him with the game tied 2-2. This triggered the beast in Rossi and he let loose on the kid.
Ljajic was wrong for making fun of his superior and payed the price with a slap to the face. Likewise, Delio Rossi paid the price with his job. It was like Rossi was a bottle of pop and Ljajic was the little kid shaking it like crazy, and as soon as he opened the bottle, it exploded in his face.
Rossi explained that his “gesture was deplorable, but understandable, humanly”. He also said that he made a mistake and only did it because he felt like him and his family were disrespected.
